Blind Boxes / Bags
What started out as a love of buying blind boxes figures turned into a personal collection of Kalesbug branded mystery merch. I love designing colourful and fun packaging along with the treasures found inside.
As all the packaging is designed and assembled by myself, so it can be difficult to mail out boxes via my online shop. For now, the bulkier items are typically exclusive to in person events (I'm working on expanding them to the online space.)
I would love to one day work on blind box figures and products!
Candles
THE SONG OF ACHILLES
A collaboration with Oasis Scents and Kale de Wild (Kalesbug) to create scented candles based on the book "The Song of Achilles" by Madeline Miller.
These candles were designed by Kale and produced by Oasis Scents, each part inspired by the book. Achilles smells of hyacinth, pomegranate and sandalwood. Patroclus smells of cypress, fig and pear.
These candles were a limited run.
Aotearoa Natives
Aotearoa Native Birds is a pin collection on wood. The original series celebrates ten of my favourite native birds from Aotearoa. Each bird has it's own unique backing card with its name and a short blurb about the bird. Depending on the bird, these backing cards either contain a few facts, stories, mythology or anecdotes about their respective bird.
By popular request, second series has been added to the natives collection. Even more of our wonderful native creatures are now available!
Enamel & Acrylic Pins
Various pin designs made for acrylic and enamel materials.
One of my favourite products I've made are these cowboy pins. Inspired by old cat house tokens, you can cash these in for a night of food, whiskey and cowboys ♡. Locations inspired by places in the game Red Dead Redemption 2.
